LA SEMILLA DEL CÓMO  (2021)

La semilla del cómo is the starting point of something new, something that is about to be discovered. That abstract idea that some mind must conceive and then materialize. Jordi said that the seed of how was the concept, that gave coherence and beauty to the projects. The compass that guides, that synthesis from where everything has to take shape; the journeys, the connections and the stories.

This time, La semilla del cómo is a book, a agent of change for diverse expressions built by those who knew and celebrate it; him and his pedagogy of doing, knowing and being. The visual and written reflections that make up this seed are based on Jordi's famous phrases, which he repeated as sayings that invited aesthetic activism, away from schematics and attentive to the path. But this path is not the easy one; It is the one that comes when it is not sought, the one that goes against the straight line and, above all, the liberator. Because if there is something that Jordi defended, it is that creativity is a means to feel free.

In tribute to Jordi Cano and his career, an exhibition was held, Un proyecto es un trayecto, in which the book La semilla del cómo was presented and in which some of Jordi Cano's projects and creations were reviewed, such as the Hourglass Method or the 4D Method: develop, define and direct, which Jordi designed as a methodological process to activate all the senses and think first with the feet, then with the hands, with the eyes and, finally, with the head.
